founder, Hop Vietnamese
Paul Hopper opened the first HộP Vietnamese in Broadgate back in 2015 having left a career in finance and travelled across Asia. It was love at first slurp when Paul arrived in Vietnam and tried the beef pho.
The name HộP derived from ‘cái hộp’ meaning ‘box’ in Vietnamese. The principle remains an important part of the business with everything designed to takeaway and eat at a desk – ideal for the busy city worker. The favourite on the menu is the ‘HộP Box’ – a complete meal with protein, steamed rice, salad, pickled veg. There’s also a range of pho, salads and baguettes.
HộP has 5 locations across the City, serving breakfast, lunch and evening drinks and small plates.
Paul will take part in our Q&A panel about self-ordering and personalisation.
